Research Activities

• All the faculty members of the department have doctorate degree.
• Various topics of research like Maratha History, Social History of Medieval India, History of science and technology are explored by the faculty members.
• Several research papers are published in the UGC care list journals and in Peer –reviewed research journals.
• Department encourages students to undertake research activity by introducing them to the principals of historiography
• Students are given project work. Students share their findings with their peers in the class seminars.
• The department is making efforts to attract research funding for undertaking a major research project.
